My name is Jose and I am 30 years young living in New York City. I came across In a Pit at a Barnes and Noble after asking God to speak to me and show me what new steps to take as a growing leader. After a while of searching - I decided to review the last book before leaving and as God would have it - I was literally blown away for 4 whole days. So much so that when I finished the book - I experienced a fire deep within my spirit which triggered a sort of crisis. I knew I was born to chase lions - but I hadn't chased one my whole life. With only 2 years as a Christian - I decided that day to become a hard-core, die-hard, all-out, Lion-chasing Christian. My pastor and I sat and talked about it and I am still in the process of allowing God to mold me, but one thing is different for sure, and it was In a Pit that started it all. Thank you Pastor Batterson. New York City got a real problem now. JTC
