Retreat Reflections
Had a great Fall Retreat with Campus Crusade. So impressed with the staff and students. I think there were about twenty staff from the different campuses and a couple hundred students.
I really felt like God gave me a heart for these students. I was so impressed with their spiritual intensity! And it's cool to know that I'll hang out with lots of them via In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day. If I wasn't a church pastor I could see myself being a campus pastor. I love being around students. It is such a critical life stage.
Had a ton of fun playing a little football, water volleyball, and watching the USF vs. UCF game with the students. And the worship band rocked.
Very excited about speaking at Campus Crusade's winter conference in Atlanta. If you're a student, check out unveiled 07.

Thanks for taking the time to be there man. 2 Samuel 23:20-21 is definitly my new favorite. Water Volleyball was a good time. You were dangerous when you had the ball!

Hey Mark! So glad you were the speaker for our retreat this year. It obvious that God has done great things through you and with you and the insights in your book are bold and incredible. Definitely looking forward to hearing more from you at Christmas Conference!
Well let me just say that this weekend was amazing and I'm so excited for Christmas Conference. I remember you saying on Sunday that you were going to post that manifest that you read in your closing thoughts and I wasn't able to find it so I was wondering if you could let me know where I could find it. It was so refreshing to have you here! Thanks so much for coming and sharing your heart with us. I'm sad we didn't have that extra Friday night session with you.
A little encouragement, a bunch of my friends and I are tempted to come to DC just to check out your church. Keep our campuses in your prayers and I'll see you in the book (and maybe at ACC)! :)
I am so glad that God provided me a way to be at Fall retreat regardless of my excuses of finance or lack of bible study members attending. It was fun doing the whole emcee job!
I just want to let you know that the Lion I am chasing is my ministry in the Air Force. It has already started with an ROTC bible study! Thank you Mark for being the mouth God used to literally make this a life changing weekend.
Thanks be to God for orchestrating events so that I could be at Fall Retreat(now named Fall Attack)to hear you bring forth the Word.I pray I can make it to Christmas Conference.
Thank you so much for coming down. Hearing you talk was amazing!! I feel like you really connected to all of us on such a personal level. You really helped me see things a lot more clearly. As soon as I found out you were going to unveiled, I knew I had to go! So I am looking forward to seeing you in a couple of months!
