Geogetown Launch
What a weekend! I really didn't know what to expect as I drove over to our first public service at Georgetown. We decided not to do any marketing so it was a soft launch. We'll wait till January to market to the Gtown community. We basically relied on invite cards and word of mouth. So I was pleasantly surprised that the theater was pretty packed. We did strategically kick off our God @ the Movies series because historically it is a series where lots of NCCers invite lots of friends!
Serious props to our Gtown launch team, led by Dave Clark. They did an amazing job getting the theater up and running! What an incredible team effort. There is nothing easy about pulling off 8 services in 4 locations, but it's all worth it if we impact one life. Lots of decisions for Christ and lots of divine appointments today.

the service yesterday was wonderful, i went to the 9 @ Union Station! I was able to bring my roommate and her 2 boys...they loved it. The youngest went to kidz quest!
thanks for preaching with such passion!
You guys rock! Thanks for all you all are doing for God's Kingdom. I heard you speak once at Valley Forge Christian College about 4 years ago and have been tracking with you all since. And your right, once person makes it all worth it. Keep on rockin it out in D.C.
For me, it is one of the joys of my life to serve the Lord in such a real and practical way and I am truly glad that God wonderfully blessed the G-town launch service, as well as all of the other NCC locations, with faithful & willing workers. I pray that as He continues to be faithful to us that we, with grateful and thankful hearts, will continue to join with Him as His faithful co-laborers who serve Him and His people with hearts filled with love and joy!

Glad to hear your Georgetown kickoff was filled with so many blessings. My wife and I were at Ebenezer's the weekend before (visiting from Maine), and we've been praying for your Georgetown launch and the many people whose lives will be impacted by your ministry in that new location.
I really enjoy your blog. Thanks for serving God so faithfully and humbly.
