Chairlifts
Parker and I just got back from two days of snowboarding at The Canyons in Park City, Utah. I thought I'd share a few reflections and a few pictures over the next few days.
One of my reflections is that I love chairlifts! I think chairlifts are one of the most peaceful places on earth. It's so quiet. It feels like you are floating above the earth. It's just you and the person you're with. And it is a much needed rest between runs.
Chairlifts are the epitome of peace!

On Earth, life is like speeding down the slopes, trying not to crash. But I imagine that in heaven, it'll be one big, endless chairlift.
FYI--This picutre is now my desktop background! Makes me happy every time I see it. I'm right back on the chairlift!

Well, to each his own I guess. Personally, "Peaceful" is not the world I would choose to describe a chairlift. Sitting on a rickety bench with a hundred feet or so of air between me and the slope. Ugh, getting me on one of those things would be chasing a lion for sure. And this is from a guy who lives in Colorado!
