Cheeseheads
Great to hang out with some cheeseheads yesterday and today!
Spent about six hours with some pastors from the Milwaukee area yesterday. That is a marathon for a Monday. Still feel like I'm recuperating from the weekend. Then we drove up to Stevens Point where I'll do another gathering today. Yesterday was one of those days where you feel absolutely exhausted and energized by the time your head hits the pillow.
Really enjoyed hanging out with Aaron Cole, pastor of Life Church in Germantown. He's been kind enough to cart me around the state. I lived in Wisconsin when I was in elementary school so I've had lots of flashbacks. I keep asking Aaron Wisconsin trivia questions!
I head back home tonight.

Mark,
Give Aaron a high for me. He's a close friend of mine and is also one of our overseers for the new church we are planting in Tampa, Fl.

Hey, P. Mark:
Our pastor, Dave Ford, attended your meeting in Germantown and was blessed by it. (Small world!) He also bought your "Lion" book---How appropriate, since we have been buried in snow all winter!!! ;)

Mark, just want to say thanks again for hanging out with us Cheesehead Pastors. I was energized by the day, and your words sparked some creative ideas in my head already. I wish I had my 57 year old experience level but could be about 30 something and pastoring with years ahead of me. It's a challenging and exciting time. We lived in DC in the 70s, attended Evangel AG which was in Maryland--if we ever visit we will be sure to check you out at Union Station. That's what I call a great venue!
