Ebenezers continues to make the news. Very cool article coming out in the Washington Post tomorrow. Check it out.
The longer I do ministry the less I want to do things I can take credit for. I want God to do things that I cannot take credit for. And that is where the favor of God comes into play. Here's my definition of the favor of God: it is God doing something for you that you cannot do for yourself. And I think positive press qualifies!
So grateful for the favor of God on Ebenezers. It is the favor of God that sets it apart and makes it unique. And I honestly believe God has blessed us because every penny of profit goes toward local outreaches and humanitarian efforts overseas!
It's a business model that invokes the blessing of God.
Coffee with a cause!

Hey - looks like you got George Constanza (sp?) in the band!!
Mark - This is exciting press. Hey, I was hoping to meet up with you in Stevens Point on Tuesday. Then you could take my picture in front of the hospital I was born in. Unfortunately it doesn't look promising for me to get there. I noticed I didn't get a "photo by..." by-line for your photo on the blog. I realized I never got your e-mail - so I'm posting on your blog instead. Brian - NCU
Brian,
I owe you a photo :) My email is Mark(at)theaterchurch.com.
Sure would love to connect in Wisconsin, but understand if you can't make it.
Blessings,
Mark
I was there when Channel 4 paid a visit. I felt honored. :-)
