i2 Conference

Bookmark and Share

Two days ago I picked up a little flu bug. So I've been running a little temperature, had a hacking cough, and feeling all-around lousy. Getting up at 4 AM to catch a flight to Houston probably didn't speed the healing process. I'm not gonna lie. I felt pretty bad physically before hitting the stage today, but I really feel like God gave me just enough strength to not just make it through my two sessions but actually enjoy them!

It was such a joy meeting Kerry Shook. Man, he's got an infectious laugh. The kind of guy you can't not like! Did you know the Shook's book, One Month to Live, hit the New York Times Bestseller list? So happy for them. And excited about the way God will use the book.

It was also an honor to meet Kirbyjon Caldwell, Senior Pastor of Windsor Village United Methodist Church. Amazing communicator!

I'm going to sleep good tonight.

God always seems to give us what we need when we need it.

I was at the I2 conference and was thoroughly blessed by your message. I'm still chewing on some of the revelations you shared with us. Thank you for your labor of love. You played off that flu pretty good, seeing as how I had no idea your voice wasn't really that deep.

Hi Mark,

I have never blogged before, but after seeing you at the Innovative Impact Conference in Houston this past Friday. I decided to check out your blog and read a few of your comments. When you mentioned the Innovative Impact Conference I decided to send a quick note. I am a member of FOTW and I really enjoyed your message. As a former Washington DC resident I am really impressed with what your doing in our Nation's Capital- my home town. (I still regard DC as home.) I didn't get a chance to meet you in person last Friday but since I make it to DC at least 3 times a year - I promise to visit one of your locations when I do and hopefully get to meet you in person.

Thanks again for a wonderful message at the Conference. Several of my friends who were there also enjoyed your message. What resonated with me most from your message was when you said "Live your life in a way that the best you can do is the best God can do... to go after God sized dreams that will fail unless God is behind them. These are profound statements and you have succeeded in reminding me how large God really is and that I too can live knowing that there is nothing to big for God to handle in my life. Thanks for an awesome message and it was great to see you. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Wow - what an impact you have made in my life from 1 conference session. I am now chasing a major lion. The impact you have made in my life is now impacting the lives of so many others. Thank you for allowing God to use you to build His Kingdom. The exponential impact of your message is awesome. Each person that chooses to chase instead of run has the opportunity to share, model, and encourage others to do the same. God will be telling your story for generations.

Hey! Thought it was a great message! Really perfect timing with me as I just started a new position halfway across the country and knowing my biggest goal is my family. Thanks for encouraging me to keep that goal.

Here's my post about it.
