What a Weekend

Last night we had two Good Friday services at Ebenezers. Such a great way to start the weekend. Today we're hosting two Easter Eggstravaganzas--one on Capitol Hill and one in Arlington, VA. Huge props to the folks who stuffed 20,000 eggs!

Then tonight we've got a baptism after our second Saturday night service. It has become an annual tradition. It's such a great time frame to get baptized--between Good Friday and Easter.

And, of course, we'll top off the weekend with a celebration of the resurrection at our three movie theater locations on Sunday.

And that's why we give our staff Easter Monday off!

I actually text messaged my friends and said "Guess who left a comment on my blog?..." The wows, ooohs and ahhs came back. I was just too tickled. Well...enjoy your resurrection day and a well deserved rest. Thanks again.

Thanks for the great message. I was stuck with the idea of living as if life was a gift after a near death experience and then I saw this guy.

Maybe you can use him for next year's Easter message.

I can't believe 20,000 eggs. My wife and I had to stuff 1,100 eggs for out church. We thought that was a crazy number. Sounds like a blessing though to all those kids. God Bless.
