Shared Hobbies

One of the things I'm becoming more intentional about as a parent is finding shared hobbies with my kids. It's been really cool running with Parker as we train for our 10K. Tonight we spent a little time on the climbing wall at Results gym. Man, that is a humbling experience! My forearms were cramping in a matter of minutes. But I think rock climbing is going to be another shared hobby that will result in shared experiences.

My son and I have been fly fishing together. How cool is that?

Good going Mark. Climbing walls are fun bro.

By the way, I wanted to let you know that I gave your book "In the Pit" to a lady two weeks ago to read. On Sunday her son attempted to take his own life. He survived the ordeal and has no internal damage but its been a rough week for the family. I spoke with the lady yesterday and she said "this book has been a God-send and came to me to read at the perfect time." I thought that might encourage you.

Terrace,

Wow. What an answer to prayer. Really praying the book gives perspective and wisdom and strength to make it through this chapter of life and come out the other side!

Thanks for sharing that.

Mark
