spring cleaning spring special

We did a major spring cleaning in our offices today. The whole staff pitched in and broke a sweat. Honestly, it was fun getting rid of lots of accumulated junk!

In the spirit of spring cleaning, we're doing a spring special on In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy. Along with the 50% off case discount (24 books), we'll throw in a Chase the Lion t-shirt. Just let us know your size. You can see the basic design below.

Email resources@theaterchurch.com for details.

I am in the middle of reading "In a Pit...." and received encouragement from every page. I am ordering a few copies to give to my pastor, relatives and co-workers. I have also gained so much from your blogs and podcasts. I have a couple questions that I would like to ask you. First of all, how do you incorporate the operation of the Holy Spirit in your ministry? (Baptism, Gifts, etc) Secondly, how can you translate some of the things you do in an urban to a rural setting with laymen that are blue collar, and less tech savy? By the way,I remember you from your CBC days (I am a '94 graduate) I used to enjoy your dunking skills especially over Bethel Baptist!! I actually have you Hermeneutics term paper on I Cor. 12:12-26- think it worth anything on EBAY?LOL Dr. Moon gave me a copy to use as a guide.Long time overdue but thanks for helping me get an A!You are a breath of fresh air. I pray much continued success! Keep Pressin on!

Shane,

I bet that paper would fetch at least a quarter :) But it's probably worth less than that!

Glad you're enjoying the book. And good question. I get that question all the time, especially in AG circles. I love discussing it, but there is no short answer. Maybe I'll post on it sometime...I think the comment page would get too long if I elaborate here :)

Mark,

I am an ordanined A/G Chaplain assinged to the 82d Airborne Division. My unit has a proud part of American history. And, later this year we are returning to Iraq. I'm putting together some "religious" programing for the upcoming deployment. I'm thinking about doing a prayer breakfast. I'm wondering if you would be interested in speaking to the best Paratroopers in the world, on the topic of "In a Pit"?

If so, email me at chaplain67@gmail.com.

Blessings,

Paul
