Headed Home

Thoroughly enjoyed my time in South Carolina! Gotta love sweet tea and southern hospitality. And the Chase the Lion message never gets old to me. Man, I love preaching that message!

I take a 5 AM shuttle to the airport tomorrow and then it's home sweet home. Definitely an intense travel schedule these next few weeks. I'm in California next week for a few days. Then I'm off to Ethiopia for a few days at the end of the month.

Looking forward to some down time this summer!

My friend and I just happened to be visiting the church you spoke at in Columbia, SC tonite and were so pleasantly surprised you were speaking. I will be reading your books!! God has been showing me that my specific fears in regards to my kids, who are 19 and 21 and live in Hyde Park near U of C have been way out of control. It is awesome to think God's thoughts are billions more loving and caring toward my kids than mine.

Ethiopia? We're adopting a child from there! I'm going to be in CA next week and I look forward to hearing what God would have you share @ the gathering @ Saddleback. A few years ago my wife and I were able to come check out NCC and totally loved your talk. You did something that day with some media with the passion of the Christ and a song from Evanescence...very cool and moving!

So cool that you were in Cola,SC. That's where I lived prior to moving to the Va Beach area! I so agree... sweet tea rocks.

Look forward to hearing you next week (@ WiBo) and hopefully meeting you too.

My wife & I so enjoyed meeting you during the SC
A/G District Council last week. Your ministry certainly encouraged us both and issued the challenge to keep chasing the lions that God put us on the path to chase when we set out to plant the church in Charleston 7 years ago. Thanks Mark for your ministry to the pastors of our area and for the your book "In A Pit With A Lion" that is inspiring our team. We are going after the coffeehouse idea!
