Headed into the studio today to record the audio version of Wild Goose Chase. Looking to do a simultaneous release with the paperback. I'm recording for about four hours today and six hours on Friday. Hopefully we'll be able to knock it out.
I don't think I have a great voice, but I really like reading my own book. Feels authentic. Definitely a work out for the vocal chords.

"Singer's Saving Grace" is a great herbal supplement spray to help when you have to sing or talk a lot... sometimes it can help with a sore throat or gunky coughs too! Just thought you might need that tip with all the reading you have coming up.
(PS - It looks like my family is getting ready to move to the DC area soon - we can't wait to visit your church! I'm 2 chapters in on the Lion in a Pit book too.. heard about the book and church from CARS director at Willow... so far I'm thinkin' "Lion" is a GREAT READ!)
Heidi Jo,
Look forward to meeting. Hope the transition to DC is a smooth one! Definitely don't want to be in a moving truck on the beltway during rush hour. Just a little tip from experience.

Is the audio for In a Pit out yet? I looked on Audible and Christianaudio.com a couple of weeks ago for and didn't see it. Looking forward to your next book!
Yup! Check out amazon.com. You'll find it there :)

my "pentecostal herald" magazine, just came in the mail, and there was a quote in there from "in a pit" by mark batterson. i about jumped off the toilet, i was so surprised and happy. i told my wife as soon as i was decent. she knows i've been a long time reader. this is my first comment after about 4 yrs of reading. love your blog.
David,
Key word "about." "I just about jumped off the toilet." Thanks for the laugh!
