Off to Chicago
My alarm didn't go off this morning. Had it set to 5:02 AM. Yes, always an even number! But I woke up and realized it was light. Yup. 5:35. I left the house at 6:05 AM and got to my gate by 6:30 for a 6:50 AM flight. Gotta love being ten minutes from the airport.
Looking forward to a few days in Chicago. I'm speaking at the Arise Conference at Willowcreek. I get to sit and soak on Wednesday. Then I'm doing a few sessions on Thursday.
Whenever I go back to Willowcreek it's like a pilgrimage for me. While I was in Seminary I got to Willow as often as possible for conferences or services. Gave me a glimpse of what a church for the unchurched could look like.
Oh yah, you know I'm going to hit Malnati's pizza once or twice!

Why the even numbers? Are we a little OCD? And your book is on the way, so it should hopefully be there when you get back. I addressed it wrong the first time and it came back. Helps to put the city on the "To" part of the package. LOL
