Weekend Reflections

We continued the One Prayer series this weekend. Absolutely loved Craig Groeschel's message: Make us One. The irony is that I met a couple who was visiting NCC for the first time, just moved to DC from Oklahoma, where they attend Lifechurch.tv.
We were a little concerned about having speakers via video that our congregation doesn't know, but I feel like that is part of the spirit of the series. We're setting up the messages with me doing short video introductions. I think it bridges the gap.
We ended our services this weekend by celebrating communion. Thought it was such a great way to symbolize our oneness in Christ.

Mark, we had a great Sunday at The Journey in Mt Juliet, TN. You were leading us this morning through your sermon. We had a couple give their life to follow Christ at our second service. Just wanted to say thanks again for the personal greeting you shot and the great message. God is good.
Makes my day, Erik!
Thanks for the update. Praising God with you!
Mark, My wife and I are on vacation this weekend from Charleston, SC where I am the High School Pastor at Seacoast Church. It was awesome seeing the message by Craig that we would have seen back home. Your church was amazing and the people were so friendly. I can't wait to visit again one day. If you are ever in Charleston look me up!
Thanks Josh! What location were you at? Wish we could have met!

Mark - glad to hear you guys are doing ONE. I'm at Church of the Highlands in Birmingham and I think our pastor will be one of the upcoming guests - I think the great people of D.C. will dig him.
Dude - seems conversations about MB just keep coming at me today. The last one of the day in surrounding our community or common-unity of having the original deaths in the Junky Car Club.
Church Bartender,
My condolences on the death of your junky car!
Mark
