I'm trying to wrap up loose ends before I head out to the Grand Canyon with Parker. So I tried recording an extended absence greeting on my phone. Just wondering if it takes anybody else thirteen tries to get the greeting right? I'm not kidding. Thirteen attempts. Sometimes I marvel at my little ineptitudes!
By the way, I was tempted to do an eternal absence greeting. I'm just not a phone guy. Why would you call me when you can email me? You know what I'm saying?

I'm in the same boat. I'm very critical of my own voice and speaking style, so I end-up recording a number of times and then just end-up being frustrated and so I settle for the last one I record.... glad I'm not the only who struggles with this. :)
Just went through the same thing. Took me a full ride to Wal-mart and about 5 minutes in the parking lot before I came up with something that made sense and actually makes me sound like I know what I am doing. I'm sure my extended absence greeting at the office sounds great from a cell phone.Glad to see I'm not the only one who obsessed over it.
i TOTALLY get the email thing... to a fault. :)
Mark,
One of my local mountain bike buddies just returned from five days in the canyon.
He and his two sisters did the rim to rim hike and he said the North rim was much cooler than the South rim.
For what its worth
Have fun in the sun

Pastor Mark,
I prefer using the phone mostly becuase I love to hear the voice of who ever is calling me. Boz
