The Church Needs More Studds

What is most lacking in the church of Jesus Christ is not education or resources. Keep learning, but we are educated way beyond the level of our obedience. And keep giving, but we do not lack the resources to alleviate poverty or fight injustice or spread the gospel. We are the most resourced church in the most resourced country the world has ever known. You what is most lacking? Good old-fashioned guts.
The will of God is not an insurance plan. It's a daring plan. And more often than not, the will of God will involve a decision that seems unsafe or insane. Dare I suggest that the twenty-first century church needs more daring people with daring plans?
In the words of a daring twentieth century missionary, C.T. Studd: "Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell; I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell."

I am part of the blog tour and started your Wild Goose Chase yesterday. I'll be honest, I thought it would be good but never imagined this good. maybe it's because it hits me right where I am...it's phenomenal. I couldn't put it down. I am looking forward to having the opportunity to give one away and review it for all of my blog followers. You did it with this one, it is amazing. It is tied with Visioneering as my favorite book and haven't even finished it. Thank you...

Okay, I preordered a case of The Wild Goose Chase but don't know if I am a part of the blog tour. Can you help me?
I thought I'd have to wait a month or two before Wild Goose... came out here in Bangkok, but yesterday I was at one of the major bookstores and there it was in among the NEW RELEASE section. I started reading it there but won't be able to buy it til next week. I couldn't put it down and had handed it to my wife out of excitement. She's now going through In A Pit With A Lion... Thanks for writing this.
