I fell in love with the German language last week. Or maybe I should say I fell in laugh with the German language. Love all the syllables. Life is so much more joyful when you add lauffencofferdauffensnauffer to every word.
A few of my favorite words were ausfarht, brauhaus, Schmuck & Uhren, and pfaffengasse. But don't ask me what any of the words mean! No idea!

Spoken like a good AG minister- I don't know what "Brauhaus" means. :^)
Ausfahrt is exit like a highway exit,
Uhren is watch and schmuck is jewelry... i think... I've forgotten way more German than I might've ever learned.
"Brauhaus" means "brewery", "Pfaffenhaus" is a more vulgar way to say "the house of the pastor" or "parsonnage". Thanks btw for the short conversation we could have after the novaexperience session in Kelowna. Glad to hear that your Germany trip and the "elephant" message on politics went well and didn't split the church!
Just to correct the last comment, since it is actually "Pfaffengasse" and not "Pfaffenhaus". "Pfaffengasse" would be the vulgar way of saying "Pastors' Alley".
