Chase the Goose

Bookmark and Share

I've heard from dozens of churches that doing a Chase the Goose series in early 09 so I thought I'd share a few tips:

1) Check out www.chasethegoose.com. We've got videos, graphics, transcripts, etc. You can download them and customize them for your series. And it's all free.

2) You can get a bulk discount on books. Email resources@theaterchurch.com.

3) It's not available yet, but we're working on small group curriculum. It should be available in August 09.

Thanks Mark - I love the generous spirit pouring out of your church, LifeChurch.tv and so many other places these days. We are finalizing our 09 sched and I think doing your series in the fall so we can use the small group curriculum would be awesome! Do you know how many weeks the curriculum will be?

Scott,

should be a six-week curriculum to follow the six cages.

Super excited to teach Chase the Goose as my New years kickoff series. Thanks for the resources Pastor Mark!

Also thanks for guest speaking at my college service on week three: Cage of Guilt - In HD ;)

Video teaching is awesome because I love getting other voices into the hearts of my students and also in this case it frees me up to be with a couple that we are friends with who the husband is getting a kidney transplant at UCLA. So it's not just a blessing to my students, it's also a blessing to me and to this couple who have been through a lot!

Hoping to get to hit up your session at Catalyst West Coast. Just was at an awesome premeeting with Francis Chan. Man was that awesome!

Mark,

We really admire all that you are doing. We would love to do a review for you for churches to know more about Wild Goose Chase. Who is your publicist so I can get in touch with them. Thanks!

Mark-

Just finished reading WIld Goose Chase, and I wanted to do a little research into A.W. Milne. I can't seem to find anything about him online, could you suggest a book?

Julie,

Wish there was a book. That story is actually from a missions professor I had in grad school. We did our best to validate the facts. So I'm confident the story is accurate. I just wish we had more details...

Pastor Mark, I have just read both of your books. I have to tell U, U are right on the money. I enjoyed them so much I purchased some for my son and my sister. I enjoy your humor and most of all it is always backed by scripture. Thank you for the blessing you have given to me this past year and in Jan,2009. When can I look forward to your next book? Very soon I hope. I can hardly wait. So much of what U have written about our churches are sooooo very true...Jesus was among the sinners..That is where we need to be as well in order to spread the Word of God. God Bless and keep your family ... thanks again for saying it like it REALLY IS!
dcthorpe - Georgia p.s. are there books U recommend that the authors think as U do?
