Excited about our live nativity today!
A few years ago we felt like there wasn't any kind of visible reminder of what Christmas is all about on Capitol Hill. So we decided to do a live nativity celebrating the birth of Christ. I think this is our fifth annual. Love the animals. The angel choir. The manger scene.
Feel like it gets me in the true Christmas Spirit.
For locals, it's at Lincoln Park (12th and East Capitol Streets, NE) from 4-7 PM.

We need more live nativity scenes....I am grateful you guys are doing that on the Hill.......
My old church used to do a living nativity. It was pretty cool.
You get a lot of new people with kids to come through, just to see the animals, and then they get the gospel, too.
Oh, and I may end up there within the next year, so if you guys ever need a pooperscooper for your live nativity, that is what I did for three years volunteering for it. Somebody's got to do it.
