We are beginning to produce the small group curriculum for Wild Goose Chase. Working with Threads, the division of Lifeway that produces small group studies for young adults.
I'd like to include your story.
Looking for some good Wild Goose Chase stories that will inspire, encourage, and challenge. It could be a cage you've broken out of, a story about the sovereignty of God, or maybe a story about how God has taken you someplace you never expected to go.
Email your story to resources@chasethegoose.com.

I am a pastor in Montgomery, AL (David Russell and I were on staff together) and I am currently running for Mayor. I feel like God has shown me what this city is supposed to look like and feel like I have to attempt to be a part of what God is planning to do here. I am only 28 and wasn't born and raised here so when I tell people it definitely raises eyebrows, but I know God has big plans for Montgomery. The Wild Goose ran right into the center of politics here. I never thought I would be in Montgomery, AL and definitely never thought I would be running for CEO of the city, but here I am. Goose chases are fun.
Love it Byron. Enjoy the chase! Really admire the courage to run.
I love the Wild Goose chase. I have been challenged to break free of the cage of responsibility and go on the chase of irresponsible responsibility. I currently work in a prison. The interesting thing about my work is that I actually work with inmates who are placed in physical cages in order to attend programs. They are called
'therapeutic cubicles.' They actually lived confined in some type of cage 24/7. This is how far satan can go to actually deceive human beings that it is OK to be imprisoned in cages. Anyways, I digress...the Lord has challenged me to quit my job (in this time when so many are afraid of losing their jobs)in order to complete a doctoral program. My goal is actually to do a post doc in Washington DC. (I look forward to attending NCC.)I believe the Lord is calling me into the political arena to work in the area of corrections...truly an oxymoron. BTW, I currently attend Northway Church in upstate NY where I heard you speak about the Wild Goose Chase for the first time...I love it...I mean HIM.
Hope WGC will be on Kindle in the future. Hoping to get one for Christmas.
