Well, there is always next year. Tough loss for the Purple People Eaters, but at least the Vikings won the NFC North. I thought they would go deeper into the playoffs, but it seems like any team can beat any other team on any given Sunday. A lot of parity this year.
Always have a tough time getting over the last loss of the season. But this isn't as tough as the Packers loss in last year's NFC Championship. I was in a funk for several days after that loss.
By the way, in case your wondering why I'm a Vikings and Packers fan? I know. I know. How can you like two arch rivals? Well, I was born in Minneapolis and lived in Wisconsin when I was kid. Love both teams. It's who I am. Half purple. Half cheese.

Born in Iowa, Live in Minneapolis. Packers fan since I remember knowing about football. Where I come from, nobody likes purple cheese... ;)
Didn't know you were a Vikings Fan, I've been for over 40 years (I'm 44) and kind of use to the disappointment, but I know the Vikings chant, "what til next year!" They looked good last half of season though.
Mark, this is weak! Someday you will have to choose sides, it's not good to ride the fence, similar to being luke warm, you must Choose! And there is only one side that is the right side. GO PACKERS!
Sorry, I'm with Brent here - you can't have both.
What do you think will happen with Favre?
Don't feel too bad. I had a double dose of disappointment this year too. I'm born and bred in Detroit and I've lived in New England for 6.5 years. Lions and Patriots. The Pats loss hurt. The Lions' season was actually a good disappointment. We can never be denied our place in history!
