Off to Nebraska

Bookmark and Share

Haven't had a speaking gig in about two months. Been a nice break! Hit the road again this week, but my 09 schedule is much more manageable! Headed to Nebraska to speak at a Minister's Retreat. Flying into North Platte. That's a first.

Bro,
If you're ever in or near the Omaha area, look me up.
North Platte is way too far.

Safe travels.

What ministers retreat are you speaking at in North Platte?! I was a worship pastor in Lincoln for a few years and there's just not much in central or western Nebraska. But it sure is great to hear you're going to be there!

Mark-

Hope your travel to Western Nebraska goes well. We at www.bandofbrothersomaha.com are still pushing to get you to come with us climb some 14,000 footers this summer.... and lead the discussions concerning "Wild Goose Chase"...:)

Hey Mark,
If you are going into North Platte and have time you should stop by the North Platte Canteen Museum. If you aren't familiar with what they call the North Platte miracle, it's an awesome story of hospitality. Bob Greene wrote a book title, "Once Upon a Town: The Miracle of the North Platte Canteen." It really speaks to the power of what 10 minutes can do to affect a person's life. Worth reading for every church guest services team.
Blessings on your trip.
Dave
