A Prayer a Day

Bookmark and Share

I'm so blessed to have a team of NCCers praying for me on a daily basis. They prayed me through the writing of In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day and Wild Goose Chase. Because of them, I view every book read as a prayer answered.

A few months ago, someone on the team felt led to email me a daily prayer. It's one thing knowing that people are praying for you. It's another thing knowing exactly what they are praying for. I love reading that email. Cool they way it often confirms what God is already doing in my spirit or challenges me in some unique way.

I covet that for every pastor
. Praying God raises up a generation of Aarons and Hurs who hold up the arms of those who lead them!

The very first ministry that was begun when I became pastor at Bethel A/G was "Pastor's Prayer Partners" (or P3, as we call it). This ministry is invaluable to me! Yes, it is so vital for pastors to know that people are praying.
