Just thought I'd share the books I read this week. Because I had some flying time I was able to get a little extra reading under my belt.
Screamfree Parenting
I'm trying to read one parenting book a month. I feel like it keeps me proactive as a parent. I really like this book. It boils down to this: keep your cool. Easier read than done!
Me, Myself, and Bob
I met Phil Vischer, the creator of VeggieTales, a few weeks ago and wanted to hear more of his story. Plus I try to have a healthy mix of biographies in my reading repertoire. What an honest and inspiring book about the successes and failures along the way!
The Magic of Thinking Big
This one was a little too dated and a little too self-helpish for my reading taste so I skimmed it. But there is a reason why it's sold more than four million copies!
Predictably Irrational
This kind of book is right up my reading alley. I love books with a scientific edge and lots of studies. It's a meta cognitive book that makes you think about thinking.
By the way, my favorite book is my one-year Bible. I know a pastor is "supposed" to say that, but I'm loving The Daily Message.

Thanks for throwing out some books. Since knocking my DMin, it's been hard to motivate to read. Thinking about thinking, well I think I will take the plunge.
I loved Phil Vischer's book; I read it last summer. I enjoy reading his blog as well about the new Jelly Telly.
Highly recommend listening to Phil Vischer speaking Wednesday in Chicago. Go to Foundersweek.com and click on Session Summaries to hear Phil tell his story.
