Parker and I had a great day yesterday.
Honestly, the cross-country flight was fun with my new Mac. The battery lasted the entire trip with an hour to spare!
Steve Jamison, pastor of Eastridge Christian Assembly, took us to lunch at the Space Needle. The restaurant actually rotates so you get a 360-degree perspective on the city! Way too cool. Then Parker and I hit the Pike Place Market. Saw them throw a fish. And I had Parker order his first latte at the original Starbucks.
I preached at their Breakthrough Conference last night. Felt right at home right away. Every church has a unique spirit and theirs was so open and welcoming and hungry. We topped it off with an amazing homemade Mexican meal at Steve's house.
Definitely a long day. Twenty-three hours from start to finish. Slept like a rock!
