Here is the front and back of our Easter mailer. It's pretty generic, but we wanted to go with a "less is more" approach because it's Easter. I think the front pops enough so that people will flip it. That's the goal. And the back is pretty straight-up. We are assuming that many people are simply looking for a place to do their religious duty on Easter. Our hope is that one visit will double as the first step in their spiritual journey.
By the way, our primary goal is to get people to www.theaterchurch.com. Our website doubles as the front door of our church.

Nice job on the mailer as it says what it is and doesn't try and make you guess. That is exactly what people are looking for...especially on Easter when they want to go somewhere but are not comfortable and often confused by series "lingo" that gets thrown at them. Can't wait to see what God does with it!
Mark,
THANK YOU for doing an Easter Sermon series ABOUT Jesus Death and Resurrection. Far too many seeker type pastors won't be.
i think its great. as a graphic designer for churches down in houston, i just got done designing 3 different mailers. less is more was my theme this year too. easter has become more "popular" than christmas eve services now. i like simple. so... i like it!
maybe classically creative - NOT generic.
VERY NICE. IS YOUR STUFF IN AN "OPEN" SOURCE :))?
Awesome card! You've inspired me to send out a card for our next big event.
Nice mailer! We've designed business card sized hand-outs for the next weekend. Are mailers your only source of advertisement? Do you use hand-outs? Why or why not?
Invite cards are our primary marketing strategy. It's all about friends inviting friends. We do NCC invites and series specific invite cards...
Mark
Nicely done. I wish more mailers were as appropriately focused as yours. I get church mailers in the mail this time of year that seem to be about everything but the resurrection of the Messiah.
