I met Benny Perez, pastor of The Church of South Las Vegas, last week at the Catalyst West Conference. He told me his son was named Benaiah so I asked if could send him a free copy of In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day. Benaiah won't be ready to read it for about a decade but I've never had more fun signing a book for someone. I wrote what I always write: Chase the Lion. But I added: It's your destiny!
I dated the book because it feels like a time-capsule. Can't wait till he's old enough to read it. Believing it'll help shape his destiny.
So here's the scoop. Ben & Jerry's has free cone day. I want to have free book day for everyone named Benaiah. Just email your address to resources@theaterchurch.com. And no changing names like Ocho Cinco.

Dangit! I chose to name my kids Isaiah and Samuel. Wrong OT names I guess :)
My five-year-old's son is David Benaiah and everytime we wrestle (like this afternoon)... let me tell you... he lives up to his name.

Happy to send a book if you email an address :) Pray he lives up to the destiny of his name!

I've got a copy already. Thanks so much for the offer. Funny thing is that our oldest son's name is Josiah. I'm like... is Batterson ripping me off or something. :) Not hardly.
Actually, we have a few mutual friends... two of which are David Russell and then Andrew McCourt in NI.
Anyway... thanks again for the offer. Hope all is well.
Is this the book that Pastor Jentezen Franklin of Free Chapel preaches the sermon 'fear fighters', would love to read it sometime if it is the one.
