My 8 year-old son quotes the same line constantly. In fact, he's now using the Boom. Boom. Fire-power. and inserting his own phrases: I. Am. Awe-some!
That was as fine a gun show as I have ever seen. Next time bounce your pecs....
I was preaching two weeks ago out of Psalm 130..."watchman waiting for the dawn" and busted out a story about my days as the night sentry in Vietnam and how I had committed to getting little Joey Jo Joe out alive and we were one sleep away from HQ in a swamp and....I am a 32 year old Canadian and figured they'd get the joke pretty fast...not so much...I actually heard "I didn't know Nathan was in Vietnam..."

Maybe it is a dad thing. My four girls zeroed in on that line as well and use it all the time. Even in Nebraska, they have the New York accent down! Much better than dad does..:)
I feel your pain....
Just watched the video of your sermon with my 7-year old son. When you said "Josiah does it better than me", he said "I believe that!". He also said it's "boom bang firepower". Out of the mouths of babes! ps I'm teaching chase the lion to our young adult Sunday school class. Just started this week. Really looking forward to seeing how God will use it!
