The Batterson family is headed to Rehoboth Beach for a mini-vacation. I think this is our seventh year in a row. Can't wait to get some Fractured Prune donuts. If you haven't had them you're not ready to die yet. We'll hit Cape Henlopen. Do a little boogie boarding. Stroll downtown Rehoboth and get some caramel corn. And we'll definitely hit Grotto's Pizza.

Enjoy Rehoboth - that's where my wife and I had our first kiss, where I proposed to her, and where we spend a lot of time together (we live in the northern part of Delaware).
Be sure to play some miniature golf on the roof of the arcade along the boardwalk.
Oh, and there's one ice cream place that has some of the funkiest flavors you will ever see (bacon, garlic, etc.).

Hope your beach trip is great. I don't know if you were aware, we used to have a Fractured Prune here in Fairfax. They were in business for about two years but could not make it work. I guess it's a beach tradition that doesn't work in the city.
That's where my husband proposed to me as well. Eat some thrashers fries for me!
