Every year our staff does two retreats. We have our planning retreat in late fall. And we do our play and pray retreat in early summer. The play and pray retreat is all staff plus spouses and kids.

The fall is wall to wall meetings. We discuss strategy for everything from sermons to discipleship to marketing to outreaches to missions. It's pretty intense including "working meals."
the pray and play is the exact opposite. Very little agenda besides morning and evening devotions. Lots of play time. Great team-building time...
