What a great 24 hours!
I spoke at Salem Fields Community Church on Saturday night and Sunday morning. When we checked into our hotel I realized I had forgotten my jeans. All I had was camouflage cutoffs! After an emergency trip to the mall we picked up some Five Guys burgers and Summer found $20 on the ground. Made her day! I don't think I've ever found more than a $5 bill.
I always miss NCC when I'm away, but I absolutely loved speaking at Salem Fields. Love their co-pastors, Buddy and Gaye Marston. They have a very cool cafe called Rubicon. And I really enjoyed connecting with lots of people and signing lots of books. Good times.
After church our family went out to Lake Anna. We've wanted to see it forever. Beautiful lake. Here's the crazy thing. There is a cold side and warm side because of a Nuclear Reactor that heats the lake. Is that safe?

If the Nuclear plant is fully contained, as I'm sure it is, then there is no contamination in the lake. It is a big heat sink. :-)
It is totally safe...and the cool(no pun intended) thing is you can swim and ski in it all year.
