He's Back

Bookmark and Share

I'm not gonna lie. Since Brett Favre said he was remaining retired three weeks ago I've checked ESPN at least a dozen times a day waiting for a hint of him changing his mind. My heart skipped a beat yesterday when the story aired that he might return. And then hearing that he was on a plane on his way to Minneapolis today. Well, I'm not getting much done work wise!

Let's just say that I'm living large right now. And I know you might not like me for this. But it's the best of both worlds for me as a Vikings and Packers fan.

Are you ready for some football?

I have to agree with Rob. In the vaunted Vikings / Packers rivalry, there can be no fence riding!

Full disclosure: I'm a long time fan of the Purple and gleeful at the prospect of Favre sticking it to beasts to the East.

He'll retire again after the season and then come back to the Packers when Aaron Rodgers get's injured in pre-season next year.

And then your dreams will be complete! :D

My two sports are about to wrap up- cycling and baseball. Is there a sport called football? If there is, is there not a team called the Pittsburgh Steelers? Just saying...

you cannot be both a Vikings fan and a Packers fan and be true to either team. You have to pick!

Brandon,

What if I said you had to choose between your two children? Which one do you love more. Same difference. I'll love them both till the day I die. It is what it is.

As long as Favre can still play, he should play. It's obvious he isn't ready for retirement, based on the back and forth he's put football fans through the past couple of years.

The Packers v Vikings matchups are going to be prime-time viewing kids. Warm up the comfy recliner, because we're just a few weeks away from Football season. Aw yeah!

I am a life long Viking fan and long time Packer enemy. Now I have to choose to boo Favre or cheer him on. I have never booed a Viking though. I did by tickets for Friday nights game.

BTW...Mark you did a great job at the influence conference. Thanks.
