The final edits are done. Primal is officially finished. 50,287 words.
I can't even put into words what it feels like to finish a book. Honestly, it feels even better than the book being released. It's out of my hands. Now it's in God's hands. Maybe that's why it feels so good. Can't wait to see the way God uses it. I think it's more than a book. I really feel like it's a movement waiting to happen.
Official release date is 01.01.10. But it might come out before Christmas if we hit target dates for printing. Amazom.com lists it as 12.22.09.

Can't wait for Primal!
Congrats Mark! Look forward to reading it.
another great read in my future!
congrats!
We are all awaiting Primal, for sure, but I'm also already thinking beyond. Given recent attention and wisdom you've shared on the topic, I would love to see a Batterson mentoring book. From biblibal to professional to parental, I think you might have a lot to share on the topic.
As a young man and a young pastor, I would love some guideposts for what that mentoring relationship looks like. How do you find a mentor, or do mentors find you? how do you glean wisdom or follow mentors? How can you be an effective mentor yourself?
You've got it in you, Mark. I know you do! Grace and peace, friend.
Mark I'm pumped.
I'm first in line!! Can't wait! You go Mark!!
Very exciting! Can't wait to read and share it with the church here. Blessings!
already pre-ordered it on Amazon!
