Kindle Edition

Bookmark and Share

Just found out that Primal: A Quest for the Lost Soul of Christianity will be released in its Kindle Edition on December 22. Still thinking about converting to Kindle myself because I'm literally out of shelves! I have books stacked on top of my shelves and on the floor. The only hesitation? I love the feel of a book in my hand.

AMEN Mark! I feel the same way! I just LOVE holding a book and feeling the pages as I turn them. I have heard that they are pretty amazing though (not to mention convenient).

It's hard to give up the "real" thing, but we love our Kindle, ESPECIALLY while traveling! Used to need a separate suitcase for books!

oh...and a great feature is the ability to highlight and then download those quotes into a Word document.

PLUS now you can read Kindle books on your computer. Pretty good for traveling (or for those of us who live in other countries).

You have got to go with Kindle especially now that you can read Kindle books on pretty much anything that has an on/off switch. One of my favorite features is that I can buy your book today and it will magically show up on my Kindle when it is released. I know UPS could do the same thing and the the book would show up on my doorstep but I still love the Kindle.

Mark,
I have a Kindle and am in the same situation as you with too many books. Honestly, I can't make up my mind which one I like better. Kindle is great for convenience but nothing seems to beat a real book that you can mark up.

Kindle is the way to go. You never have to worry about where a books is and it is convenient to have on you consistently so no wasted time.

I have a Kindle and love it. I buy the Kindle version to read and a paper version to give away.

Won a free copy of Derailed. Already downloaded the free Kindle version. I've had the Kindle for less than a month and I find I'm much less likely to read a book if it's not on Kindle. Love the ability to decide what I'm going to read after I get somewhere. They all come with me.

Mark,

Be sure to check out the kindle edition of your book if you get the chance. I have a Kindle and the last two books I got for it have been

VERy, ,badly form.atted

(one novel, one collection of essays)

Not sure there is a good solution and don't want to be discouraging, and I absolutely love my Kindle especially for reading on Metro, but just a heads up. I myself will be buying your book in "book" form because of the one other thing I find annoying about my Kindle books: I can't share them! Well, maybe I'll need to buy two...

Got the Kindle app on Iphone and use it when I travel, but have 'real' books at home. Convenient to have it on my phone and also FREE (beside 9.99 per book)
