We don't have a ton of youth @ NCC because we're 70% twenty-somethings, but we've got a great youth group. Check out Uprising on Sunday, January 31st @ 6 PM @ Ebenezers Coffeehouse.

Exciting!!!
I'm in the midst of a work of God to build a local church community that targets older adults ("boomers & beyond") and as such am trying to wrap my head around awesome ministry to a few kids/teens.
One thing is evident...the number of kids/teens being raised by grandparents is skyrocketing, and I know there is a need to reach them in their unique setting. Beyond that...I'm having a hard time envisioning a "kids ministry" in a church that doesn't target kids and young families.
Any advice? All prayers appreciated!

We do everything in "small groups" so that let's us "start small." Takes some of the pressure off...
