Huge thanks to everyone who went the extra mile to make our services happen this weekend. It was a heroic effort. From Brandt, Will and Andy who shoveled like antarctic natives to Michael and Shana who walked more than a mile through the snow to teach our kids, all I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you! Dave Schmidgall, one of campus pastors, drove our minivan complete with snow mohawk, to pick up our Ebenezers band. Chris Jarrell, our Kingstowne Campus Pastor, shoveled for 25 hours in a 24 hour period to dig out and get to church. And the stories go on and on.
What a weekend!
Sometimes a little extra effort leads to a little extra blessing!

Happy to help.
And Thank YOU for bringing it week after week!
Hey Mark,
I just finished "Primal" and thought it was excellent. Thanks for being real and creative. I deeply appreciate your life and ministry.
Thank Stephen! Means alot :) Hope we have occasion to cross paths sometime in the near future. Blessings!
Mark
Hey Mark, I just wanted to share with you a cool thing from yesterday in our church plant near Pittsburgh, PA.
At the beginning of the service, I shared with our folks (about all 50 of 'em yesterday due to 26" of snow and -6 temps) what you said about God honoring extra effort, all the while wondering why I didn't just cancel church.
Yesterday evening I got an e mail from the guy who tracks our giving. Despite having our lowest attendance in our 5 months since our launch, we had our largest (almost twice as large as our previous) offering yesterday.
So cool to see God honor and bless our extra efforts yesterday to gather for worship. Thanks for your encouragement.
Took advantage of my regular church closing to drop in @ Kingstowne. It was great! Chris was welcoming and the worship was other-worldly. Mark, your message resonated with me on a deep level. Thanks for your faithfulness.
Sweet! I'm so glad you guys were able to have services. My home church in Delaware has had to cancel services for two weeks and they are sorely missing each other!
