I've been thinking about getting a kindle for months because I'm out of bookshelves. I literally have books stacked on top of my bookshelves as high as I can reach! So today I got a package from Greg Darley with Backstage Leadership. Inside? A Kindle. Now that'll make your day! Gonna be a change of pace, but excited about downloading my first book.

Hope you will blog later about how you like it. Can't imagine making shift for lots of reasons. But like you am running out of bookshelves. Even with giving good books away to younger guys who are on tight budgets.

I LOVE my kindle. It's one of the greatest ways to redeem time I have ever seen. I LOVE being able to read 5 books at once. I am reading faster because I can select the type and amount of words on a page. I LOVE that it pulls my highlights into one file for later use. I love that I can listen to a book if I have to move on and have to stop reading to do something.
I am not wild about no back light.
I LOVE turning a page with a press of my thumb. But I miss being to highlight a book. I miss having the books. But I am reading way more than ever and I have always been a reader. Chances are you won't use it for everything but some things. Service is so great too. My first one broke and they overnighted me a new one in one day. I have to say - am reading Primal in the real form. Just had to.
Enjoy reading a book on the Kindle - but LOVE to preach from it!
